Flipping for Progress: Recapping the Birthday Flip-Out Campaign Fundraiser

There was no better way to celebrate another trip around the sun than surrounded by neighbors, volunteers, and grassroots supporters ready to make history in Alamance County!
We fired up the grill at our home in Burlington for our Birthday Flip-Out—a community cook-out, campaign social, and fundraiser with a fun, family-friendly twist. While we enjoyed burgers, lawn games, and community conversations, everyone was united behind our primary goal: our fight to flip NC House District 63! People-Powered Energy
Ranked as the 6th most competitive legislative district in North Carolina, House District 63 is the epicenter of the fight to break the legislative supermajority in Raleigh. To win this tight race, we need the resources to keep our canvassers fueled, print literature, and connect face-to-face with every undecided voter.
The energy in the backyard was electric:
Community Fellowship: Long-time residents, local candidates, educators, and new volunteers gathered to share ideas for lowering the daily cost of living, expanding workforce housing, and defending municipal authority.
Grassroots Investments: Thanks to generous contributions from attendees and online supporters, we raised vital funds that go directly into our door-to-door ground game.
Expanding the Canvass Bench: Dozens of attendees committed to taking new weekend canvassing shifts as we head into the crucial fall sprint.
