Pounding the Pavement: Team Baltutis Surpasses 3,000 Doors Knocked Across Alamance County

When we officially stepped into the race for NC House District 63 in mid-May, we knew we were starting behind on the calendar, but we made a promise to make up that ground where it counts most: on the porches and walkways of our hometowns.

Despite the summer heat, our incredible team of volunteers rolled up their sleeves and hit the pavement every single weekend. Today, we are thrilled to announce that we have officially surpassed 3,000 doors knocked across the district! Meeting Voters Where They Are

Our strategy is simple: high-impact, face-to-face engagement. While special-interest groups rely on generic TV ads and out-of-touch mailers, our canvassing in Alamance County is focused entirely on listening directly to the people who live and work here.

On the doors over the last few weeks, the message from voters has been loud and clear:

  • Easing the Daily Financial Squeeze: Families are feeling the pressure of rising property taxes, high utility bills, and housing costs, and they want practical, executive leadership focused on affordability.

  • Defending Local Autonomy: Residents are frustrated by Raleigh politicians passing unfunded mandates and meddling in local zoning and city planning.

  • Investing in Public Schools: Neighbors want our state tax dollars to support our classrooms, fairly compensate educators, and properly fund the Alamance-Burlington School System (ABSS) rather than funneling public money into unaccountable private vouchers.

The Path Forward

Ranked as the 6th most flippable NC House seat in the state, District 63 is ground zero for breaking the legislative supermajority in Raleigh. We are building a durable, community-centered machine that can mobilize voters and win this seat on November 3rd, and every conversation brings us one step closer.
